Nocturnal Ballet is a lithograph that I made with some help from Peter Lancaster who is a wonderful master lithographer from Lancaster Press. He recommended the technique used in the background which worked wonderfully. This work was one of a number of works that were recently in a show at Carbon Black Gallery in Prahran called Stop Press which coincided with IMPACT 7, a printmaking conference held here in Melbourne. This particular work is the 3rd state print from the Nocturnal Ballet series.
Emerging and Submerging are both intaglio prints printed on black rag paper. They are both sizeable works, with the rag paper measuring 76 x 112 cm. They were printed back in 2009, to an edition number of 10.
Unfathomable Beauty is a multiple plate intaglio print that I made in my 3rd and final year of my Bachelor degree at RMIT University back in 2009. It was made with three copper plates and was printed on white rag paper. It’s quite a large print, with the paper size being 56 x 76 cm. It is an edition of 5.
